Spray Tan Before & After Care

Your glow deserves intention — both before and after.

PRE-TAN CARE

Before Your Appointment

Arrive ready for your custom, bespoke bronzing. These steps will ensure your tan applies evenly, develops beautifully, and lasts longer.

  • 24 hours before your appointment. Create a smooth, clean canvas by removing dead skin and residual product.

  • Schedule them at least 24–48 hours before your tan so your skin has time to recover and pores can close.

  • on the day of your tan. These products can act as barriers and interfere with color absorption.

  • after your session. Think oversized tee or wide-leg pants, flip-flops, no tight jeans or constricting straps.

  • Clean, fresh skin with no makeup, oils, or heavy moisturizers ensures your bespoke blend settles naturally on your undertones.

  • If you’re active, schedule your workout before your tan, shower afterward, and then head in to ensure you start with fresh skin.

POST-TAN CARE

After Your Appointment — Development

While your custom formula develops, your glow is turning into something seamless and radiant. To make the most of the tan:

  • until your recommended first rinse time.

  • (we’ll give you your exact timing). Use warm water, no soap if possible, and gently rinse the cosmetic bronzer off.

  • rubbing or pressure during development can lead to uneven patches.

  • Wear loose, dark clothing and avoid sheets that might transfer the cosmetic bronzer or rub the skin.

  • Moisturize daily, morning + night. Hydrated skin = longer-lasting glow.

  • Skip harsh exfoliants or treatments until you’re ready to remove the tan.

  • Avoid oil-based, heavy or residue-leaving cleansers — they can shorten your tan’s life and cause uneven fading.

EXTENDING YOUR TAN

Help it last and fade beautifully

  • Expect hands, feet, and face to fade first — these areas wash often and move more.

  • Avoid long hot baths, heavy chlorinated pools, or excessive sweating, especially in the first 24–48 hours.

  • Gentle is key: Pat dry your skin; avoid rub-drying. Use light, oil-free lotions to maintain your finish.
